- The Egyptian Drug Authority achieved WHO Maturity Level 3 (ML3) for Vaccines (2022) and Medicines (2024). Following this achievement, MoUs under the Africa Continental Regulatory Reliance Framework were signed as EDA is now a (Reference Regulatory Authority). The MoUs were signed in June 2025 at Africa Health ExCon with Seven African Countries namely Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Tanzania, South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, and Senegal.
